Women’s discipleship
The Foundry
Not yet liveThe Foundry is not yet live. It is intended to become Upward Knoxville’s women’s discipleship space, supporting biblical growth, encouragement, prayer, fellowship, and spiritual formation among women, but we are not meeting under this name and there is no weekly rhythm or Discord server for it yet.
We are actively and prayerfully looking for leadership, women who love Christ, honor His Word, and could help shepherd this space faithfully when the time is right. Until the right leadership is in place, we will not pretend The Foundry is something it is not.
Leadership
Like The Forge, which is live today and meeting men online, The Foundry should not be a program created for appearances. It should develop carefully, prayerfully, and with the right leadership and participation as Upward Knoxville grows.
The goal is not performance or pressure, but faithful discipleship, honest fellowship, and growth in Christ. If you sense the Lord may be calling you to help lead in this area, or you wish to ask questions in good faith, please reach out through Stay Connected or email connect@upwardknoxville.org.
Staying connected
The Foundry is not meeting yet, so there is no dedicated Discord or schedule under this name. The paragraphs below describe how we generally hope active groups stay connected across Upward, as context for when The Foundry is ready to begin.
Most group interaction and participation currently takes place through Discord. This helps reduce unnecessary travel, allows people with different schedules to participate more consistently, and makes it easier for individuals both inside and outside the Knoxville area to stay connected and involved.
While there may occasionally be planned in-person gatherings, fellowship events, or meetups connected to these groups, those would typically be scheduled well in advance with clear communication beforehand.
Our goal is not to replace real fellowship, but to create practical and accessible ways for believers to stay connected, encouraged, sharpened by Scripture, and involved in discipleship throughout the week.
